Created by Grey Frandsen, Dr. Michelle Brown and Torrey Tayanaka, “The Kite” is a small, colorful cloth patch that makes humans invisible to mosquitoes for up to 48 hours.

While most anti-mosquito patches on the market now prevents bites by repelling the insects with chemicals, The Kite is a non-toxic solution that protects its wearer from mosquito-transmitted diseases by blocking the mosquitoes’ ability to detect humans.

This break-through technology is currently sourcing for funds on Indigogo—in just four days, it has surpassed both its initial goal and stretch goals with about US$163,000 pledged.

By contributing to this project, you will not only get to be among the first to try out the revolutionary Kite patch, but also help to bring it to Uganda—one of the places that need it the most—for a field test.
