Many perfumes in the market are housed in fragile glass bottles—a group of students from the British Higher School of Arts and Design in Moscow, Russia, went the opposite way with their concept of a perfume brand named “Barb”.
Embedding the perfume flask in a piece of rock, the packaging is designed to look tough and unbreakable, which is precisely what its creators are going for—“Barb is a fragrance for men whose spirit is eager to break through the concrete walls, whose boundaries are way beyond the whole world.”
Other than the bottle and packaging, the students have also created a full range of brand identity materials for Barb, including multi-media ads and a functioning website.
