‘Holi’ or the “Festival of Colors” is an annual celebration in the Indian tradition that celebrates the victory of good over evil, and also the “death” of Winter and the “re-birth” of Spring.
Associated Press photojournalist Altaf Qadri went to India to capture a series of stunning photographs of the “Lathmar Holi”, a prequel to the main event, celebrated by throwing colored powder and water over everyone, turning the village into a rainbow of bright and beautiful colors.
