This Hotel That Is Built Into The Swiss Alps Has A Breathtaking View

The Berggasthaus Aescher hotel is a one-of-a-kind place to stay as the structure is built into one of the cliffs of the Swiss Alps.

This 170-year-old guest house is made for those who love nature as the view from the suites is gorgeous. It is also a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of life as there is no TV or WiFi.

Forgoing modern conveniences, the hotel do not provide conventional showers, so guests have to use the water that comes from the mountains to clean themselves.

To get to this place, visitors take a two hour car ride from Zurich, followed by a hike that allows them to view the gorgeous landscape around them.

The hotel is open from May to October—you can make a reservation only by phone.
