Advertising agency TBWA/Hakuhodo has created intricately carved ice cubes to complement the whisky from Japanese brand Suntory.

Called ‘3D on the Rocks’, the various 3D printed ice include designs such as the Statue of Liberty, Batman and the Sphinx.

A CNC router was used to carve the designs and chilled at -7 degrees Celsius to prevent the ice from melting. The Autodesk 123D app was also used for capturing and preparing the 3D images for printing.

Launched last year, the campaign recently bagged a Branded Content & Entertainment Lotus trophy at Thailand’s Asia Pacific Advertising Festival.
