Artist Creates Amazingly Realistic Paintings Of Famous Album Covers On Her Face

Nirvana - Nevermind

Like last year, artist and musician Natalie Sharp celebrated Record Store Day this past Saturday by painting the covers of her favorite records on her face.

Sharp, who goes by her recording alias Lone Taxidermist, recreated the covers of 11 albums including Talk Talk’s The Party’s Over and Nirvana’s Nevermind—our vote goes her mind-blowingly awesome recreation of In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson.

Speaking to The Quietus, she said she wanted to top last year’s effort, and spent up to eight hours a day for weeks painting her face.

Check out her recreated album covers below. Which is your favorite?

Talk Talk - The Party’s Over

Bjork - Volta

The Velvet Underground & Nico - The Velvet Underground & Nico

The Human League - Dare
