Plain Leather Shoes Get A Design Boost With Striking Marker-Drawn Patterns

We have previously featured Nendo's versatile suitcases and miniature geometric sculptures.

The Japanese design firm has recently designed a collection of leather shoes for by | n called ‘marker-shoes’. These leather shoes are patterned with markers that are drawn directly onto the calfskin leather.

The marker ink is partially absorbed into the soft leather, creating an almost watercolor effect of checkered patterns. The collection contains shoes for both men and women in three different designs, each available in three colors.
