Year-Long Instagram Project Features Incredible Art Made With Pencil Shavings

To challenge herself and keep her creative juices flowing, Meghan Maconochie posts her unique artworks daily on Instagram.

The South African teacher uses pencil shavings to create animals, pop culture icons and everyday items. For example, her unique subjects include portraits of Harry Potter and Darth Vader, a jar of Nutella and a deer among others. The pieces take from ten minutes to hours to create.
