Netherlands-based design agency Trapped in Suburbia, who previously created an interactive poster that can be played like a musical instrument, has unveiled a poster made with gunpowder ink that ‘explodes’ when touched.
The ‘Sound Poster 3.0’ is the final instalment in the agency’s series of experiments to merge analog and digital techniques. Adding a tactile thrill to the proceedings, the poster uses gunpowder ink and a capacitive touch sensor to set off an explosion when a specific part is pressed, literally ending the series with a bang.
