With the help of Wieden + Kennedy London, Honda’s new spot for its Civic Tourer shows us the “inner beauty” of objects by revealing how they look like on the inside.
This idea was inspired by Adrian Killham, Honda’s Chief Engineer for the Civic Tourer—he wanted customers to see what lay beneath the surface of this vehicle, and the creative team decided to do just that in their ad.
Using stop motion, CG techniques and slicing objects to get a good view of their cross-sections, the team managed to create a sense of wonder as we are able to look at what goes on inside the everyday objects we take for granted.
