Designer Draws A Bear Every Day For A Year To Avoid A Bearish Attitude

To avoid “the pitfalls of a bearish attitude”, graphic designer Jared Rippy embarked on a year-long project in 2013 where he would create an illustration of a bear every day.

Each drawing in the “Don’t Be A Bear” series is inspired by a particular bearish feeling the designer had on the day it was made. Not all of the illustrations are made literally—one illustration features a Post-It note with the word “bear” on it.

We think that this illustration project is a great way to get negative, churlish energy out of one’s system.
