Humorous Illustrations That Imagine Animals As Quirky Humans

Copenhagen-based illustrator and animation director Helena Frank has made a series of playful drawings that place animal heads onto human bodies, creating quirky hybrid characters.

These imaginary characters are surprisingly believable, even if they do have disproportionately large heads—many of them are also humorously rendered, reflecting very human emotions that are not usually associated with animals.

One of our favorite from the lot is an illustration of a hamster pushing a cat down a hill in a supermarket trolley, which supposedly refer to Frank and her boyfriend.
