Architects Create Larger-Than-Life Koosh Balls That Provide Warmth In Winter

Remember the Koosh ball toy made of multi-colored rubbery filaments that was all the rage in the ‘80s?

Toronto Architecture firm Raw Design has come up with ‘Nuzzles’, larger-than-life versions that provide warmth, light and fun in winter.

Each is a heated, lit core surrounded by foam tentacles in which warm air is trapped. People are encouraged to interact by playing, climbing and sitting on them to keep warm.

Scroll down for pictures of the Nuzzles that are brightening up the Assiniboine River landscape with their pops of colour.
