‘Alphabeard Beardface’ is a typography project by New York City-based artist Michael Allen, in which he creatively uses his beard to form the letters of the alphabet.
To create each letter, Allen had to grow out his facial hair and shave it to match the corresponding letter. According to Allen, he said that “many beards have been sacrificed for this project”.
