Australia-based company Credit Card Finder has come up with a creative solution to help shopaholics curb their excessive spending in the form of a nifty GPS-enabled purse.
Apparently going cold-turkey is what they’re proposing. Called the ‘iBag’, it can be programed to lock itself during periods of high shopping frequency.
The GPS function also warns shoppers when they’re getting too close to their favorite stores, and will even send out a text message to a trusted individual to let them know if the owner of the bag is spending.
The iBag is currently a prototype from a publicity stunt, but will be made available for both men and women at US$173 if demand is high enough.
