Love For Sale: Hand-Lettered Signs That Make Fun Of Valentine’s Day

Based in New York, designer Annica Lydenberg has created some hand-lettered Valentine’s Day signs that comment on the commercialized nature of the holiday.



Inspired by old showcard sign painting in store windows, Lydenberg recommends these signs for both singles and couples to help them advertise their skills in the art of romance—tongue firmly in cheek, of course.



“For those of us who are single, these signs comprises a sales pitch highlighting well-honed skill sets, and the promise of romance with a witty edge. For those who are in a relationship these signs will keep the spirit alive,” the designer stated.
