Born in Malta, freelance photographer Kurt Arrigo’s love for the sea is evident in these otherworldly photographs.
Colored in a cool wash of blue and turquoise, these dancers look like they are suspended in animation, performing an underwater ballet while being surrounded by fish.
Arrigo has also added a black stallion to the mix—the unlikely view of a horse underwater reminds us that there is an unexplored universe beneath the ocean’s depths.
