Scenes From Iconic Hollywood Movies Reimagined With African Characters

Breakfast At Tiffany’s

Senegalese photographer Omar Victor Diop and French-American photographer Antoine Tempé have come together to create a series of photographs that pay homage to scenes in famous Hollywood films.

As they believe that cinema is the most universal form of art that transcends all barriers, these photographs feature scenes that have influenced many cities—especially African ones.

Apart from paying homage to these actors, the photographers also wanted to show the cultures of the two African cities of Dakar and Abidjan. The photographs also feature emerging actors and models in Africa, as well as the architecture of the Onomo Hotels.

This exhibition will be exhibited in Abidjan in the Ivory Coast and Libreville in west central Africa till May 2014.
