Photographer George Karbus journeyed to Russia’s White Sea for a dive and emerged with these gorgeous photographs.
Karbus and his girlfriend drilled a 30-centimeter-wide hole in the ice before diving, and the light from the aurora borealis was reflected beneath the surface and onto a passing Beluga Whale.
