An animator who goes by the pseudonym of Monsieur Caron has created a LEGO-made couch gag for The Simpsons.
This fun and surreal sequence has The Simpsons swapping their heads for the bodies of the characters from The LEGO Movie and vice versa.
The animator purchased official toys from The LEGO Movie, and shot this sequence with a DSLR. He used software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect and GarageBand to perfect this sequence.
Apart from this short, he has also recreated famous scenes from movies—the terrifying “chestburster scene” from Alien comes to mind.
