Digital agency Pilot Interactive has created a fun website, ‘Lots Of Donuts’ for fast casual restaurant chain Tim Hortons that tracks the history and evolution of their donut offerings.
Beginning from 1964, the year that Tim Hortons was founded, their very first donut was ‘The Dutchie’, made from dutchie cake dough and raisins, and sugar glazed. It is also dubbed ‘A Champion Donut’ because it was the top seller throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s.
Today, there are fun seasonal special edition donuts for St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, and even a football-shaped one for the fans out there.
