California-based artist Mary Anne Kluth’s latest project entitled ‘Theme Parks’ is a series of beautiful and creative paper collages of what she imagines as theme park landscapes without its man-made entertainment structures.
Inspired by a collection of journal writings by botanist William Brewer from the 1800s, describing the romantic Californian landscape, she pieced together the digital and hand-cut collages to match his vivid descriptions.
The resulting artwork are colorful and mesmerizing ‘theme parks’ where people can go to experience the joy of all that the natural Earth has to offer.
