“Cracked Face” | You have the right to live free from rape and sexual violence
Tokyo-based painter Hikaru Cho, whom we have previously featured, has created a new series of artworks commissioned by human rights organization Amnesty International entitled ‘My Body My Rights’.
Created to raise awareness about issues like sexual exploitation and harassment, the series features Cho’s signature hyperrealistic body paintings, like a woman who has a cracked face, conveying the message: “You have the right to live free from rape and sexual violence”.
