PANTONE, “the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries”, has just introduced 84 new colors to its popular PANTONE PLUS SERIES guides.

The addition of these shades—which include a broader range of pinks, blushes, blues, greens and violets—has brought the total number of colors in the series to 1,755. The new colors would also be available in coated and uncoated format.

The company has also released special Artist Edition covers that feature the artworks of two PANTONE Canvas artists, who are namely Hungarian graphic and typography designer Tímea Andorka and Paris-based graphic and web designer Yo Az.

In the words of Karen Lantelme, director of creative marketing at PANTONE, “The 84 new colors, combined with the Artist Edition cover selections, further extends our commitment to designers and celebrates color’s profound impact on design.”
