Created by 25-year-old Samantha Jayne, ‘
Quarter Life Poetry’ is an Instagram account that features funny illustrations of common scenarios that 20-somethings will be able to identify with.
Inspired by Dr. Seuss, she wanted to create something that her friends could relate to. “It’s more like Oh The Places You Didn’t Go Because You’re Up To Your Ears In Student Loans.”
Drawing on her own experiences, she composes little poems and illustrates them with a stylus on her tablet.
Touching on little frustrations like FOMO (“fear of missing out”) to bad Tinder dates, Jayne said it’s important to see the humor in everyday situations and not take things so seriously.
