Yesterday we featured Warsaw-based photographer Anna Liminowicz’s project titled ‘Between The Blocks’, which is a documentation of the life of lesbian couple Honorata and Agnieszka in Poland.
To the west, partners Melanie and Vanessa Iris Roy from Charlotte, North Carolina, are channeling their own influence via Instagram.
Both Melanie and Vanessa dreamed of becoming mothers. They decided to have a child each and to document their journey on their Instagram account.
Last year, Vanessa gave birth to her son Jax. Melanie’s daughter Ero, followed one year later.
What the duo didn’t expect was the impact their photos had on other people–being a source of inspiration for other same-sex couples and garnering support from individuals who have same-sex parents.
