eBay has unveiled a new company logo—replacing its previous ‘floating’, overlapping letters with a more traditional design in the same color scheme.
According to eBay president Devin Wenig, he said that the new logo is part of the company’s effort to reinvent the 17-year-old brand and build a new eBay.
“Our refreshed logo is rooted in our proud history and reflects a dynamic future,” Wenig said in a post.
With the new logo, the company is also expected to revamp its site—making navigation much simpler and enjoyable for their online visitors.
The new logo will officially go live on their site and appear in advertising and marketing campaigns in mid-October.
