Japanese photographer Shinichi Maruyama explores body movements through photography.
In his series entitled ‘Nude’, he re-envisions the language of traditional nude artworks with reference to time, and captures nude subjects dancing.
Each image of abstract flesh-colored shapes are not long-exposure shots, rather composite images created by combining ten thousand photographs of the dancer—in turn showing the movement of the dancer.
