Belgium-based photographers Kevin Laloux and Maxime Delvaux use cardboard and miniature dollhouse furniture to create dramatic, realistic-looking scenes.
Called ‘Box’, the project involves portraits of imperfect characters that seem indifferent, even while in surreal and disastrous moments created in cardboard.
“The idea is to create imaginary scenes with a cinematic aesthetic which, beyond their narrative aspect, unsettle the spectator through the scale and choice of material,” Laloux and Delvaux told My Modern Metropolis.
