
After being re-elected as President of the United States, Barack Obama tweeted a victory tweet—which has quickly become the most-retweeted tweet in Twitter’s history, according to Mediabistro.
The tweet that writes “Four more years.”—accompanied by a photograph of Obama embracing his wife—set a record just 22 minutes after it was posted.
Currently, the second most-retweeted tweet was also by Obama that read “This happened because of you”, which garnered over 213,000 retweets.
Previously, the most retweeted tweet in history was posted by celebrity Justin Beiber—a tweet that read “RIP Avalanna. i love you”.
