Personalized Billboards To Curb Accidents

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) of Australia and T20 Big Bash cricket teams have collaborated in a campaign to raise awareness for road safety by delivering personalized messages to drivers using billboards.

As part of the ‘Homesafely’ initiative, people could create their very own road safety messages for their loved ones who were behind the wheel.

These messages could be delivered via radio or shown on billboards near their residences.

“A heartfelt message from you to your son, daughter, Mum, Dad, sister, best mate will really motivate them to get home safely to you,” said Janet Dore, CEO of TAC.

“You can choose to record your message and have it broadcast on Fox FM, at a time when your loved one is likely to be listening to the radio. Or you can select one of six billboards across Melbourne to screen your message at a time when they will be at that intersection.”
