Breathtaking Photographs Of The ‘Supermoon’, Rising Over A Swiss Mountain





Once a year, a supermoon—the largest, brightest observable full moon from Earth—makes an appearance.



This year, it rise on 23 June—according to NASA, it is “14% larger and 30% brighter than a typical full moon”.



Swiss photographer Alessandro Della Bella of “Helvetia By Night” has managed to capture some gorgeous photographs of the supermoon rising over the peak of the Säntis mountain in Switzerland.
