From F.T. Marinetti’s Futurist Manifesto, which encourages people to create a “new art of speed and violence”, Snider chronicles the rise and the unfortunate demise of this modern art movement.
In the latter half of the comic, Snider examines the impact of this movement, wondering how it has affected society.
While this question is not fully answered in the comic, it shows that art movements shape the world more than we think.
