Green Hotel Creates Urban Garden In City Center

Situated in the middle of the business district, the Park Royal Hotel in Singapore has been given a green makeover.

Designed by WOHA Architects, this environmentally-friendly hotel will have a rain collection system, harness solar energy, with six sky gardens adding a bit of greenery to the urban landscape.

The hotel is also equipped with a state-of-the-art recycling system, while its interior makes as much use of natural lighting as possible.

This building has also been awarded the Solar Pioneer Award for its use of solar energy, as well as the highest rating for environmentally-friendly buildings in Singapore – the BCA Green Mark Platinum.
