Arizona-born photographer Mike Brodie created a photo series that documents the lives of freight train hoppers in America.
Captured over a period of four years, the photos revealed the nomadic lifestyle of teenage drifters who spend their youth living on the roofs of freight trains and on the banks of railroad tracks.
It was reported that Brodie has traveled over “50,000 miles and visited 46 US states on over 170 different freight trains”.
