Based in Brooklyn, Takeshi Miyakawa uses mirror finished acrylic to make his furniture ‘disappear’.
Called ‘Visible / Invisible’, each chair and table is also warped using heat to create ‘wrinkles’, which otherwise makes the furniture nearly impossible to see.
