Washington DC-based artist Joseph Barbaccia creates his art pieces by rolling polymer clay into bits and strands before piecing them together to form a picture.
By using strands of varying shades and colors, each picture is rich with texture and detail, giving the illusion of depth.
It is an unusual art form not commonly seen, and he uses it to create fun pictures of Buddha on a treadmill and Rapunzel all wrapped up in her own hair.
