Photographer Captures Underwater Images Akin to Classical Paintings





Self-taught London-based photographer Zena Holloway’s underwater images look more like Classical Renaissance paintings than photographs.



Taking her inspiration from being underwater, her images capture the elegance of body movements and the fluidity with which garments move and float.



The resulting images portray her subjects as fragile, yet strong demi-goddesses, akin to Boticelli’s ‘Venus’.
