Cosmetics Firm Launches Valentine’s Day Campaign Against Russian Anti-Gay Laws

British cosmetics company Lush has rolled out a gay rights themed Valentine’s Day campaign to protest against anti-gay laws in Russia.

Timed to coincide with the Winter Olympics in Sochi, the ‘Sign Of Love’ campaign saw signs with pink triangles and the tagline “We believe in love for everyone, between everyone” displayed in 700 stores in 40 countries. Customers are encouraged to paint pink triangles on their bodies using Lush lipstick to show support for the LGBT community in Russia. They can also upload photos of themselves painted with pink triangles to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag ‘#SignofLove’.

In addition, the company is creating photo petition books which it plans to send to Russian embassies around the world on Valentine’s Day.

Check out some photos from the campaign below and head over to All Out to pledge your support.
