Illustrator Turns Everyday Scenes In Tokyo Into Fun Cartoon Sketches

Tokyo-based illustrator Hama House whom we have previously featured has come up with a series of fun everyday sketches of people in public places.

They are of the most mundane activities, like people falling asleep on public transport, or groups interacting in a café. But under his deft hand, they seem to come alive with more character in their cartoon forms.

Using a little imagination, he adds quirky little details, like stripes to a pair of pants a lady is wearing, or giving a drab shirt some patterns and a little wash of color.

Scroll down for more of his sketches.
