An ‘Ever-Changing’ Co-Working Space Designed For Maximum Flexibility

To help aspiring entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground, the City of Seoul in South Korea has set up HUB, a free co-working facility that is supported financially by the municipality.

The expansive interiors within the facility is designed by Hyunjoon Yoo Architects, which was instructed to focus on “the flexibility of the space”—sticking to this brief, they created offices that can be collapsed and put together again to suit the needs of their occupants.

For instance, users can slide the walls and reassemble the table components in order to create an “ever-changing” work space that is multi-functional and creative.

In addition to the office spaces, HUB also features other amenities such as a cafeteria, a concert hall, lecture halls and even a gift shop.
