French artist and photographer Philippe Echaroux has a street art project entitled ‘Painting With Lights’ in which he projects giant 3D portraits onto outdoor surfaces like buildings, trees and overhead bridges.
As the projections interact with the solid surfaces and blank spaces, the graffiti-style images give the illusion that they are eerily floating in the air, becoming a part of the landscape.
