Apple introduced its now iconic “rainbow logo” in 1977, and large signs of this logo could be seen at the Cupertino company headquarters during the time of its use. In 1997, these signs were removed from the office buildings and given to a long-time Apple employee.
Next month, these original signs would be on auction in New York City—the bidding would start from US$10,000. The larger sign measures 46 x 49 x 1/2 inches while the smaller one measures 33 1/2 x 36 x 6 inches—they are made of stiff foam and fiberglass respectively.
Wouldn’t it be cool to have these history-rich signs hanging in your home or office? Find out more about the auction here.
