Very often, a good packaging design can do so much to enhance the experience of bringing home a product—this is certainly the case with the imaginative gift boxes Canadian confectionary Chocolats Favoris packed their delicious goods in this past Easter.
To add a touch of delightful whimsy to their chocolates, they commissioned LG2 Boutique to created a line of charming boxes that are designed to resemble floppy-eared bunnies—two flaps at the top of the box pop up like long ears while a forked tab at the fronts looks just like the protruding incisors of the rabbit.
To mark the occasion, the brand also housed their chocolate eggs in egg cartons, much like the ones that are used to store real eggs.
What do you think of this creative packaging—it must have won quite a few hearts because it recently won third place in the “Confectionary, Snacks, & Desserts” category at The Dieline Awards 2014.
