Singapore-based Instagrammer Melissa has an account called Girl Eat World that combines the best of food and travel–she documents the iconic foods from the countries she visits in a series of mouth-watering photographs.
Each photograph is styled the same way; her outstretched hand holding up her food of choice, against the setting of a particular place.
In an interview with The Huffington Post, Melissa said she was encouraged by one of her friends to start a dedicated food photography series after she posted food pictures on Facebook.
A scroll through her Instagram account reveals a veritable treasure trove of drool-worthy foods–Hello Kitty doughnuts and onigiri in Japan, pretzels in Germany, gelato in Italy and pho in Vietnam, just to name a few.
It seems people just can’t get enough of pretty food pictures–at one-week-old and with only 34 posts at the moment, her account already has over 10,000 followers and counting.
