Shown at the recent Milan Design Week, German design firm Theo Möller’s Blow lamps are whimsical lighting options that are inflatable and look like floating illuminated balloons.
Users have to blow into a valve at one end of the polyethylene tube to inflate the lamp—after the valve is forced closed by the air pressure in the tube, the lamp with its LED strips and aluminium coating would provide a comfortable ambient light.
These creative lamps could either be attached magnetically to powder-coated metal stands or suspended from the ceiling using nylon threads—they can even be mounted onto a wall to create an attractive lighting feature.
