Miniature Cities Built On Plants Reflect Humans' Relationship With Nature

Japanese sculptor Ocoze creates mini cities built on bonsai plants.

These micro artwork of plant life and architecture are made out of plaster, steel, resin and objects that are found by the artist.

These pieces depicts the "forces of nature that will continue to exist with or without mankind"—some buildings seemed to be "thwarted" by the plants, while others found a "symbiotic relationship".

Through his works, the artist plants a message that "life is impermanent and nature will ultimately prevail".
