Animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has released a new animation video that urges us to try veganism.
Titled ‘Someday’, the animated short follows the tragic life of a newborn baby chick—showing viewers the “typical experience” of a chicken that is raised for meat.
Besides being separated from its mother, the chick had to grow up in a cramp cage and watch other chickens get slaughtered for their meat.
Featuring the song ‘I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday’ by English singer Morrissey, the video ends with the message urging us to go vegan—not someday but today.
