We’ve previously featured Ukrainian photographer Vyacheslav Mishchenko’s wonderful photographs of snails.
Dutch photographer Wil Mijer has a similar series where she captures the miniature world of colorful tropical frogs.
Her vivid, dream-like macro images feature the tiny amphibians perched on toadstools, nestled in flower petals, and hanging out on plant stems.
In an interview with Bored Panda, the mother-of-three said she uses a Canon 40D camera and a 100mm macro lens, and takes each shot quickly to avoid affecting the frogs.
She added that she has always loved nature, especially small animals. “If you look into the eyes of the frogs, you instantly fall in love with them.”
