Gorgeous Landscape Scenes Formed By Shredded Paper

Tel Aviv-based artist Naama Arad has created large-scale wall installations that depict beautiful images of landscape and architecture by piecing together stripes of shredded paper.

Involving the laborious process of shredding hundreds of pieces of copier paper, the resulting artworks of fringed paper has a surreal, mirage-like quality.

Using recycled materials and simple construction techniques, the installations’ porous, curtain-like facades are designed to created a blurred boundary between the interior and exterior, invoking a sense that one is in a room that extends beyond its four physical walls.

Head over to the artist’s website for of his stunningly emotive work.
